About the British University in Egypt
BUE is Egypt’s major university delivering British Higher Education with students graduating with both Egyptian and UK degrees. It is the largest face-to-face provision of British Transnational Higher Education in the Middle East.
The mission, educational philosophy and aims of the BUE are closely aligned with those of ɬÂþÌìÌà (ɬÂþÌìÌÃ), in particular the emphasis on the delivery of high quality education, widening participation and student focused learning. The regulations and policies of the BUE conform to UK practice and its quality assurance and enhancement processes ensure that QAA norms and standards are safeguarded. Within the Egyptian context the Nursing programme also meets the requirements of different statutory and regulatory bodies including, the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), the Ministry of Health and Population (MHP), and the Nursing Syndicate (NS).
